Water covers about 71% of the earth’s surface!
About 71 percent of the Earth's surface is water-covered and the oceans hold about 96.5 percent of all Earth's water. Water also exists in the air as water v***r, in rivers and lakes, in icecaps and glaciers, in the ground as soil moisture and in aquifers, and even in you and your dog.

🚰 How to Save Water? 🚰
2 simple and effective ways of saving water would be via reducing and reusing water! 💦
Rainwater, stormwater, graywater, wasterwater and water from industrial or commercial usage can be reused. 🌧️
To reduce the wastage of water, we could always take shorter showers 🚿, have a regular check for leaks in the pipes and toilets, run the laundry at home only when at full capacity or just hand wash if the quantity is low 🧺 and stop leaving the water to run at sinks or taps when in us.

♒ Types of Water Waste ♒
In order to save water, we would first have to identify the water waste present today! 💦
The 3 dominant types of water waste are domestic waste, industrial waste and storm waste.
Domestic waste refers to any sort of water waste produced at home. 🏠 Industrial waste is waste discarded by factories or companies in liquid form. 🏭 Storm waste would be the contamination or water waste from a storm. 💨

💧 Percentage of Drinkable Water on Earth 💧
Did you know that only 0.4% of the water on Earth is drinkable to be shared among the 7 billion of Earth’s inhabitants?
3% of Earth’s water is fresh but 2.6% of it is inaccessible because of being locked up in glaciers, polar ice caps, atmosphere, soil, far under the ground to be extracted or highly polluted.
