Minhaj al-Abidin ila Jannat Rabb al-'Alamin.
Dated 1272H/1856 AD
by Daud Abdullah al Fattani (d. 1847 AD).
Copied in Mecca in 1272H1856 AD by in Ibrahim al-Fattani, this manuscript is by the prolific Malay scholar Sheikh Daud al-Fattani. A leading writer of Islamic texts in Jawi, he spent decades in Mecca and Medina and was deeply influenced by Imam al-Ghazali, particularly Ihya' Ulumuddin. Centered on Sufism, the work addresses the spiritual challenges that must be overcome to draw closer to Allah and attain eternal Paradise.
