Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia (UPTM) extends its warmest congratulations to Adam Brimo, CEO of OpenLearning, on his appointment as Adjunct Professor at Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia (UPTM) for the tenure of 1 August 2026 to 31 July 2028.

This appointment reflects UPTM’s commitment to strengthening collaboration between academia and industry, particularly in advancing digital education, innovation, and future-ready learning.

A successful meeting today with Ms. Aananthi Seventhy, Regional Director, Education Services, Southeast Asia, International Education and Study Melbourne, Victorian Government Trade and Investment, together with Ms. Stephanie Ang from RMIT University.

The meeting focused on discussions regarding the future direction of the Dual Degree Programme between the FCOM, UPTM and RMIT University. The discussion also explored potential areas for further collaboration and opportunities to strengthen academic partnerships between both institutions.

We look forward to furthering this collaboration and advancing meaningful academic opportunities for our students.

CONGRATULATIONS, NURUL ASIKIN BINTI ROSLAN!

The Faculty of Computing & Multimedia (FCOM), Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia (UPTM), proudly congratulates Nurul Asikin Binti Roslan, Multimedia Lecturer, FCOM, on her selection as one of Malaysia’s two delegates to the ASEAN–China Heritage Dimensions of National Arts (ACH-DNA) 2.0.

Held from 9–14 August 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, this ASEAN–China initiative brings together selected researchers, academicians, textile practitioners, cultural practitioners and technology innovators from ASEAN Member States and China to explore the theme “Reimagining Heritage Through Innovation.”

Nurul Asikin represents Malaysia and UPTM in this regional platform, contributing perspectives on cultural heritage, textiles, digital innovation, AI and sustainable creative practices while engaging with experts from across the ASEAN–China region.

Her participation reflects UPTM and FCOM’s commitment to innovation, cultural heritage, sustainability and regional collaboration.

The program is taking place place at Soluxe Hotel Moscow, Moscow Russia. They join the program for an incredible journey of learning, collaboration, and innovation.
