We have been seeing various ESG related news and its impact emerging lately in the media where we at Centegy Learning Hub want to initiate an ESG Focus Month to play a small part in bringing more awareness to the market through the assurance fraternity. Together, we are hopeful to help kick-start a ripple effect on improving ESG in Malaysia.
Feature along this post is an article from Lexology (link available at the comment section) on the increasing shift in attention towards effective ESG Risk Management and how ESG is fast becoming an organisational growth driver.
Lastly, a big shout out to the British band Coldplay who will be generously sponsoring a vessel to Malaysia as part of the ongoing effort to remove plastic trash from our rivers. This will be the second vessel to be deployed in Malaysia after the first one in August 2019 and placed in the Klang River (being the top 50 world's most polluted river).
