Finally finally finally.. i submitted my Collaborative Action Research Dissertation. Called for Viva on Feb 1st.. It was a successful viva. Easier than i have ever imagined. My Chapter 3 ( methodology) was declared EXCELLENT by the external examiner. In fact she admitted the whole thesis was so enjoyable to read! Yes! Thats the function of academic narrative.
Now, if you read my reasons for creating this page 6 years ago, you will understand why i took such a long time to submit my thesis. It was not easy, it was not a smooth journey. Like Action reseach cycles, my PHD journey was complicated. From the proposal to the data collection and analysis and finally the report ....it was not easy.. I had to be very careful as it was very difficult to convince others that my story can be made academically legitimate. But.. Alhamdulillah I finally made it... and my journey actually begins now... after my thesis has been aporoved by my university...
