Galeri Seni Universiti Malaya dengan kerjasama Chinese National Academy of Arts (CNAA), Beijing dengan sukacitanya mempersembahkan Wan Fang Tong Meng: Pameran Khas Budaya "Mimpi di Mahligai Merah" di Malaysia. Ini merupakan sebuah pameran yang menvisualisasikan naratif dan kebijaksanaan karya Hong Lou Meng (Mimpi di Mahligai Merah), salah satu daripada Empat Karya Agung Klasik China. Saksikan keindahan karya seni dalam bentuk keratan manuskrip asal, karya artis kontemporari seperti lukisan dan fotografi yang diperagakan dalam pameran ini.

Ms Chang Siew Chin, principal from SJKC Kuok Ming, Ms Pang Dan Fung, principal from SJKC Yuk Chin, Ms Boon So Jin, principal from SJKC Phui Yuk, Ms Chu Voon Fui, principal from SJKC Sin Hwa and Mr. Philip Sia Kah Shu from the Sabah Education Department visited the HLMRC UM on 3rd October 2024, and took a group photograph with Dr. Fan P*k Wah, Dr. Teoh Hooi See, Dr. Florence Chee Wee and Dr. Chia Jee Luen.

(Centre) Mr. Ong Chong Lim, the director of Prometheus Enterprise (燧人氏事业) visited the HLMRC UM on 03th October 2024, and took a group photograph with Dr. Ho Kee Chye, Dr. Chia Jee Luen, Dr. Teoh Hooi See and graduate research assistant Ng Yu Qin.

Datuk Dr Chong Han Kwang, ⁠Datin Chiew Mei Chin, Ms Wang Joke Eang, Mr Wong Voon Fui, ⁠Wen-Chi Chen from Standard Foods, Wei-Sheng Kuo, Ying-Kuang Wu, and Yang Li from ICON China Groups visited the HLMRC UM on 10th September 2024, and took a group photograph with Dr. Chia Jee Luen.

4 PhD candidates of Department of Chinese Studies, Universiti Malaya presented topics related to Hong Lou Meng (Dream of the Red Chamber) at the "2024 Ethical Literary Criticism and Interdisciplinary Studies (IAELC) Summit" on 18 August 2024, namely,

3. Kee Hap Leng, Ethical Conflicts and Tragic Reconciliation: A Literary Ethics Examination of Lin Daiyu and Xue Baochai's Dilemmas in Dream of the Red Chamber
4. Zhang Yi, Brain text and literary image:Ethical literary interpretation of the "Baoyu image" in "A Dream of Red Mansions"
