As we welcome the blessed days of ๐„๐ข๐ ๐€๐ฅ-๐€๐๐ก๐š ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”, the Hashim Sani Centre for Palestine Studies at Universiti Malaya extends our warmest wishes and prayers to the global Ummah and, most importantly, to our resilient brothers and sisters in Palestine.

This Eid, our hearts remain firmly anchored in ๐†๐š๐ณ๐š.
Amidst the deep trials, loss, and devastation, the children of Gaza continue to teach the world the true meaning of ๐“๐š๐ฐ๐š๐ค๐š๐ฅ๐š (reliance on God), ultimate sacrifice, and unyielding hope. Just like a small plant growing amidst the rubble, their spirit remains unbroken, nurturing a future built on steadfastness (๐’๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐).
As we perform our Qurban and gather with loved ones, let us carry Gaza deeply in our prayers.
May this Eid bring them the solidarity they deserve, the strength to endure, and the dawn of lasting freedom and hope.

YouTube has removed a talk by Dr. Basem Naim, delivered in May 2024 and co-organised by the Hashim Sani Centre and AMEC. The platform labeled discussion on justice, equality, and freedom for Palestinians as a violation of its guidelines.

This decision restricts access to important perspectives and limits open discussion. When platforms remove voices that speak about rights and accountability, they shape what people can see and understand.

Silence in the face of injustice gives space for it to continue. Speaking up challenges that silence. Sharing information keeps these conversations alive and visible.
