Title: Little Hands, Big Discoveries 🐝🌿

Today, our outdoor classroom turned into a beautiful Bee Sensory Exploration.

With sand to touch, lemons to smell, leaves to explore, and little bees to discover, children engaged all their senses through play and curiosity.

They were not just playing — they were developing observation skills, language, focus, creativity, and a deeper connection with nature.

At Piccoli Reggio Emilia School, we believe meaningful learning happens when children can touch, wonder, explore, and discover the world around them.

Title: Balance, Confidence & Joy in the Sandpit

Today, our sandpit became an exciting space for movement and discovery. With the addition of tyres, children explored climbing, stepping, balancing, and finding their own pathways.

As they move from one tyre to another, they are not just playing — they are developing balance, coordination, body awareness, confidence, and problem-solving skills.

At Piccoli Reggio Emilia School, we believe meaningful learning happens through hands-on experiences, movement, and joyful challenges.

Sometimes, the simplest materials create the richest learning moments.

“A Fallen Nest, A Beautiful Lesson”

Today, the children gathered around a little nest of baby birds that had fallen from a tree, discussing seriously:
“Why did they fall?”
“Are they scared?”
“Why can’t they fly yet?”
This was not a planned lesson, yet it became one of the most meaningful learning moments.
At Piccoli, we believe nature teaches children every day.
A baby bird, a butterfly, an earthworm — each small encounter becomes the beginning of a child’s journey to explore the world.

**上个星期，小朋友们收割了自己亲手种的玉米。🌽 从农场回到课堂，玉米带来的不只是收获，更激发了孩子们满满的好奇心。老师也准备了一些有趣的小活动，让大家继续探索、讨论、一起动脑筋。有人发现玉米有不同的颜色，有人觉得它的纹路很特别，还有孩子说它像一幅画。越看越觉得，原来平常的玉米，也能藏着这么多小秘密！✨
