Dear Participant and Presenters,
In light of the growing global coronavirus COVID-19 concerns, the BUERC 2020 Organizing Committee considers the health and safety of its participants to be the utmost priority.
Therefore, after very careful deliberation, we have decided to change the mode and conduct of the BUERC 2020 to virtual presentation mode instead of in-person presentation. We will deliver a follow-up email regarding specific guidelines and method of virtual submission for the BEURC 2020 soon. The BEURC 2020 virtual presentation event day will still be held on the original date of 26th March 2020.

The BEURC Competition series aims to give exposure and training to all the Built Environment (BE) undergraduates in presenting and showcasing their research studies. BEURC also serves as a platform for bridging among students, academicians as well as professionals to share knowledge and understanding on construction industry in order to search for a resolution towards a more inclusive built environment that meets the needs of everyone in society both now and in the future. Therefore, with the spirit of BEURC we hope the virtual presentations will help facilitate a more inclusive and innovative built environment cohort despite this time of crisis and uncertainty.
Yours sincerely,
BEURC Secretariat

We are wondering whether there will be any participants would like to address this question in their submission.
Will carbon farming save the planet? Could sequestering CO2 in soil help us to reverse the effects of climate change, and if so, how does it need to be implemented if it is to have the required effect?
