Alhamdulillah, PGSS IIUM Gombak successfully conducted Session 2 of the PG Sisters Circle featuring the topic:

🎤 “Turning Back to the One: Du‘ā’, Dependency, and Nearness to Allah in Times of Trial”
👩‍🏫 Prof. Dr. Nurul Fadzlin Hasbullah
Kulliyyah of Engineering, IIUM Gombak

With 23 years of experience as a lecturer at IIUM Gombak, Prof. Dr. Nurul Fadzlin shared her inspiring academic journey and personal experiences as a Muslim woman pursuing her studies in the United Kingdom (UK) for nearly 10 years, from her student years until successfully completing her PhD.

Through this meaningful two-way tazkirah and conversation session, she shared valuable insights on how postgraduate students can take proactive steps when facing various academic and personal challenges throughout their Master’s and PhD journeys particularly from both academic and spiritual perspectives.

The session provided guidance and encouragement for students on how to navigate mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual struggles, and how to regain strength and direction during difficult times.
Alhamdulillah, the session was successfully conducted in both physical and online formats.

Our sincere appreciation goes to the speaker and all participants for their presence, engagement, and willingness to share and seek beneficial knowledge together 🤍
