To celebrate, we’ve been getting into the Malaysia theme and learning more about our beautiful culture through lots of fun, hands-on activities! 🌺✨

Our little ones have been busy:
🎨 Colouring the Malaysian flag 🇲🇾 Jalur Gemilang
🪁 Colouring the beautiful Wau Bulan
🇲🇾 Making their very own Malaysia flags
💛 Learning about the colours, symbols and things that make Malaysia so special!

It’s been such a fun way to bring a little piece of Malaysia into our classroom while building excitement for Hari Merdeka! 🥰🇲🇾✨

🐾 Our Animal Theme Came to Life! 🐶🐠💕

What an exciting time we had during our Animal Theme! Our children had the wonderful opportunity to meet some very special furry friends as families brought their beloved pets in for a visit. 🥰🐾

The children were so excited to observe, gently interact with, and learn more about the animals. Through these special visits, they learned about how to care for pets, how to approach animals safely and gently, and the importance of showing kindness and respect to all living things. 🌱💗

A huge thank you to our wonderful families for taking the time to bring your pets in and making our Animal Theme extra special! 🐾✨

T is for Tree! 🌳

Our 3-year-old children enjoyed creating their beautiful tree artwork through painting and stamping.
This activity encouraged creativity while helping them develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and confidence in using different art materials.

Today, the children enjoyed a variety of hands-on practical life and fine motor activities. 🌟

Using tweezers to pick up, transfer, and match coloured pom-poms, the children strengthened their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, concentration, focus, and colour recognition. 🟡🔴🔵⚪️🩷💜🧡🩵

They also practised pouring water from a jug into cups, learning to control their movements carefully while developing independence, coordination, and concentration. 🥰

During the Montessori Lock and Keys activity, the children explored how to lock and unlock different locks using keys. This activity encouraged problem-solving, patience, fine motor development, hand-eye coordination, and independence. 🔐🔑🔓

Through these meaningful activities, the children continue to build confidence, independence, and important everyday skills through play and practice. 💛

Our children are buzzing with excitement as we begin our Animal Theme! Throughout this learning journey, we are discovering all about our furry, feathered, and scaly friends in fun and engaging ways.

To make this experience even more meaningful, we’d love for children to share their beloved pets with us! They are welcome to bring in photos or short videos of their pets to show their friends.

If you’d like to bring your family pet in for a special visit, we’d absolutely love to meet them!

Our little animal detectives🕵️ 🤔🐾

The children matched each animal with its favourite food - from crunchy carrots to tasty nuts and juicy fruit, they explored what different animals love to eat while building their thinking skills.

This fun, hands-on activity encouraged logical thinking, visual discrimination, vocabulary development, concentration, and fine motor skills as the children carefully matched each animal to its meal.
