If you’re aiming to achieve a band 5 in IELTS Writing Task 1, make sure you master all of these features:
Overall Approach:
• Address the Task Directly: Make sure your response clearly answers all parts of the question. Don't go off-topic.
• Focus on Clarity: While your writing might not be perfect, aim for clarity so the examiner can understand your points.
• Keep it Simple (Initially): If complex sentences are challenging, focus on constructing accurate, simple sentences first.

Just sharing some feedback on my journey in designing and running trial lessons for an innovative EAP/IELTS program in Vietnam! Recently, I had a blast with 11 bright high school students from a renowned gifted school. Had lots of fun today with these guys here. Part & parcel of an exit task for a new certification I'm working on is to teach a class of minimum 5 students for half an hour at least. 12 students showed up & the lesson lasted for about 90 minutes 😁💪 All done n dusted. More to come.
