The TIAC MPC Challenge is a two-day residential team challenge aiming to provide university students with a theoretical understanding and practical experience to BNM’s monetary policy framework and process. Participants will be required to analyse economic data and use the data to form policy conclusions in addressing macroeconomic issues.
The Challenge is open to all Malaysian undergraduates from local universities, who have completed at least two years of studies by mid-2022. Each university may nominate any number of teams for application to the Challenge, and the shortlisted teams will be notified two weeks prior to the challenge.
The challenge will award prizes to the top 3 finalists as follows:
Champion: RM 5,000 cash prize, an internship placement for all three participants in BNM and a research collaboration between the team advisor with BNM
