π£π£ We have just published one of our research project outputs in the listed publication below. In this study, we qualitatively collate and review existing Malaysian mangrove ecosystem services valuation studies, and assess them against the best practices and lessons learned from other ecosystem services valuation studies to identify their effectiveness in informing decision-makers.
This study has highlighted specific gaps in existing valuation study designs, outlines several lessons, and provides take-home messages for future ecosystem services valuation studies in Malaysia to better inform the decision makers in deciding on a more sustainable approach to managing mangrove forests.
