Art & Coding Workshop
In collaboration with Ilham Gallery Kids & Families

Suitable for kids age 5-8yo
Does your child like to play platformer games where one has to jump through a series of obstacles? If yes, encourage them to learn how to create their own games instead of just playing them!
In this art and coding workshop, kids will learn about the geometric shapes found in Yee I-Lann & Collaborators: Borneo Heart's Harunan Motol (Boat's Ladder) Tikar (Mat) Artwork currently being exhibited in the "Life the Tikar!" exhibition at ILHAM Gallery, and how math is used in art and design. Then, they will be guided how to draw shapes digitally and code a fun geometry dash style platform game.

Malaysian School Holidays are upon us: 27 May 2023 to 4 June 2023! We have two Art Discovery Tours happening on 30 May 2023 and 31 May 2023 - both morning tours from 1030am to 1245pm. Please refer to our previous post on these!
Aside from tours, we have other children's art workshops planned in conjunction with the "Lift the Tikar!" Show by Yee I-Lann & Collaborators: Borneo Heart - workshops that will help kids be further immersed in their tikar artwork, and also help them gain a better understanding of the issues related to Bornean communities and Bornean culture.
