Building new 'superpowers' for creative writing, by making my boys do millions of exercises on Frontal Adverbials.
Isn't just fun? π

Celebrating 65 years of Malaysian Independence through a Malaysia-themed lesson with my 8-9 year olds.
Today, we've :
1) Talked about the pros and cons of living in Malaysia.
2) Written personal entries based on "I am proud to be Malaysian because..."
3) Listened to oldies by respected Malaysian music artistes.
4) Watched, listened to, and corrected Phua Chu Kang's grammar.
5) Used one-worded adjectives to describe all the characters.
What appeared to be 'pointless' singing, dancing, and TV was in fact, a fully integrated class consisting of speaking, reflective writing, grammar, vocabulary and practicing comparatives.
Who says learning can't be more exciting?
Engagement and effective are key tenets this aspiring educator tries to live by...emphasis on the word 'tries' π

Learning English can be tricky.
Spelling, punctuation, grammar and pronunciation are some of the many things that make it difficult to master.
Who can tell me what's wrong with the poster?

Posing for pictures with my super talented and charismatic (and future) music students, Chigo, Chisom and Kweisi.
I'm super duper happy to see both Chigo and Chisom, play together with minimal supervision ππ
Still lots of work to do, but our Christmas programme is coming along really nicely, considering the fact my "Dynamic Duo" started (from scratch) just under six months ago. Videos will be up soon...stay tunedπͺπβοΈ
