We, from Group 1, would love to take this opportunity to show our undivided gratitude to Kolej Tingkatan 6 Pudu Jaya for allowing us to conduct our Acid Rain Experiment project with their students. Thank you so much!
Besides, we also want to thank our course coordinators, AP Dr. Choo Yeun Mun & Dr. Aqmal for their wonderful support throughout this journey. A big shoutout to University Malaya and also to SULAM for providing this learning platform.
For us, it was a truly incredible learning opportunity. We are grateful that this platform has been provided to us where we were able to share & spread the knowledge of chemistry to the community.

We did a little activity with the students on our project ex*****on day. We assigned each group to create a poster of their own based on the idea of acid rain. The posters turned out amazing!! All the students did a great job 😍💯 Yahoo!!
This demonstrates that the students have received the information and awareness we gave regarding acid rain.

We were given the platform to share the knowledge of chemistry in our every day lives, so we hope we’ve made some positive impacts on these students. In the same time, we were able to spread the seriousness of acid rain.

Here's part 2! 😍 We had so much fun interacting with the students. They were excited to conduct the experiments which shows how the acid rain was formed & how it can affect our environment.
We really appreciate Kolej Tingkatan 6 Pudu Jaya for giving us the opportunity to conduct our project there ❤️ Thank you so much!

[Part 1] We are happy to announce that Group 1 has successfully completed their Acid Rain Experiment project! We had a great time working together with students from Kolej Tingkatan 6 Pudu Jaya. They showed great interest and commitment.
We hope the students enjoyed and learnt the seriousness of acid rain through this interactive session.

We have made learning about acid rain easy for you! These will be the simple facts you need to know about acid rain.
Take note: sulfur dioxide & nitrogen oxides released into the atmosphere due to human activities is the major contribution for formation of acid rains 😢

Group 1 members had come around on 23/11/2022 to do some test runs on their experiments before their big day. We've divided the tasks accordingly and the whole trial run experiment went well. There were definitely some improvements made too. Each team member came around well and cooperated effectively!
Trial run experiments done on:
a) pH test using cigarette smoke
b) Reaction between limestone and sulphuric acid
