تعلن الثقة عن مجموعة من الدورات التي يحتاجها طالب الدراسات العليا

عودة التعليم الوجاهي بشكل “جزئي” في الجامعات الماليزية مطلع مارس

أعلنت وزارة التعليم العالي الماليزية أن الجامعات في البلاد ستستأنف الدوام الوجاهي بشكل جزئي اعتبارًا من الأول من مارس على الرغم من استمرار تفشي فيروس كورونا في البلاد.

وقالت الوزارة إنها أجرت مشاورات مع وزارة الصحة ومجلس الأمن القومي والهيئات الطلابية وخبراء الصحة وغيرهم، قبل الوصول إلى هذا القرار، وأكدت أن هذا ما يريده معظم الطلاب.

وأضافت الوزارة في بيان: “بناءً على نتيجة هذه الجلسات، وافق مجلس الأمن القومي على السماح لست فئات من الطلاب بالتواجد فعليًا في الحرم الجامعي في أقرب وقت ممكن في 1 مارس، لاستئناف العملية التعليمية بشكل يجمع بين الدروس الوجاهية والدراسة الافتراضية.”

وأوضحت أن فئات الطلاب الذين سيستأنفون الفصول الوجاهية اعتبارًا من 1 مارس هم المسجلون في البرامج التي تتطلب تدريبًا عمليًا وسريريًا وتدريبًا في المختبرات والمعامل، كما تشمل كافة الفئات التي لديها محتوى علمي لا يمكن تقديمه عبر الدراسة الافتراضية.

ويسري القرار على جميع الطلاب الدوليين باستثناء الطلاب من المملكة المتحدة؛ كما يشمل الطلاب ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة، والطلاب الذين يخضعون لاختبار اللغة الإنجليزية للجامعات الماليزية (MUET)، بالإضافة إلى الاختبارات الدولية والمهنية.

وقالت الوزارة إن التعلم الوجاهي والإلكتروني سيكونان متوافقين تمامًا مع إجراءات التشغيل القياسية لمجلس الأمن القومي للحد من إصابات كوفيد-19.

وأضافت أن الطلاب غير المشمولين بهذه الفئات الطلابية الضرورية سيستمرون في التعلم عبر الإنترنت.

وأوضحت أنه يُطلب من الطلاب الذين ينوون الذهاب إلى الجامعات في ولاية صباح قادمين من شبه الجزيرة الخضوع لاختبار مسحة على نفقة الوزارة بينما سيُطلب من الذين يدخلون سراواك الخضوع لحجر صحي لمدة 14 يومًا.

Dear all International Students.

Greetings from International Student Services Unit, AASC Universiti Malaya,

Effective 1st March 2021, all international students (except from The United Kingdom) may enter Malaysia to continue their studies. Please be informed that holders of dependent pass are NOT ALLOWED to enter Malaysia.

However, international students are required to comply with the ruling of mandatory quarantine of seven (7) or ten (10) days before entering campus.

1. NEW AND EXISTING STUDENTS

The definition of the types of student are described as follows:

New Students that have been offered to pursue their studies in Universiti Malaya and want to obtain the student pass. This can be divided further into:

- Students who have obtained the eVAL but expired due to MCO.

- Students who have submitted application for eVAL but is yet to be approved.

- New students, who registered in Semester I 2020/2021.

- New students, who WILL register in Semester II 2020/2021.

Existing Students who are students still studying (yet to complete their studies), This can be divided further into:

- Students who have valid student pass but are stranded in their home country due to the border closure and cannot enter Malaysia to continue their studies.

- Students who do not have a valid student pass since it has expired and wish to renew their student pass but cannot enter Malaysia due to the border closure.

As part of the eVAL application process, students must:
1. Submit the ‘Declaration of Accommodation’ (https://forms.gle/VEwP5UsE4u3WEBu39)

2. Submit the ‘Declaration for Commencement of Online Classes’ (applicable only for eVAL application that has been submitted prior to 1st January 2021. (https://forms.gle/7zzKLkJ7qedinTeM9

3. Ensure the validity of a student’s passport must be at least 18 months (students are recommended to renew their passport if the validity is less than 18 months).

2. EVAL EXTENSION

Students who have received their VAL but are not able to enter Malaysia within the VAL validity period due to COVID19 travel restrictions, may submit their eVAL extension request via e-mail to [email protected] and cc to Madam Hayati at [email protected]

3. PRE-ARRIVAL PROCESS FOR NEW STUDENTS

3.1. Once the Immigration Department of Malaysia has approved the eVAL, the eVAL and the Travel Authorization will be auto-generated and made available for download through EMGS Website. The Travel Authorization can be downloaded from the following link below:- https://visa.educationmalaysia.gov.my/emgs/application/searchForm/

3.2. Download, fill and sign the Letter of Undertaking and Indemnity (LOU) and obtain the travel notice from the nearest Malaysian Mission office. This form is available for download on the following link below: https://visa.educationmalaysia.gov.my/guidelines/travel-authorisation-form-base.html

3.3. Students from countries that requires Single-Entry Visa (SEV) to enter Malaysia are required to submit their SEV application to the nearest Malaysian Mission office.

3.4. Students are required to undergo the RT-PCR Covid-19 Test three (3) days before travelling to Malaysia. The RT-PCR Covid-19 test result must be translated in ENGLISH so that the respective authorities in Malaysia can inspect it.

3.5. Students to complete the online payment for the quarantine and the Covid-19 Screening Test through MySafeTravel (www.safetravel.myeg.com.my)/ MyQr application by MyEG (www.myeg.gov.my) and provide the payment slip at the international entry point upon arrival.

3.6. Students are required to download the MySejahtera app from the iOS App Store, Google Play Store or Huawei AppGallery to complete all the required information three (3) days prior to the arrival date.

4. PRE- ARRIVAL PROCESS FOR EXISTING STUDENTS

4.1. All existing students that intend to enter Malaysia must submit their Travel Authorization application through the EMGS website. Once it is approved, Travel Authorization will be made available for download through EMGS Website. The Travel Authorization can be downloaded from the following link below:- https://visa.educationmalaysia.gov.my/emgs/application/searchForm/

4.2. Download, fill and sign the Letter of Undertaking and Indemnity (LOU) and obtain the travel notice from the nearest Malaysian Mission office. This form is available for download on the following link below:- https://visa.educationmalaysia.gov.my/guidelines/travel-authorisation-form- base.html

5. POST – ARRIVAL PROCESS FOR NEW & EXISTING STUDENTS

5.1. International Students will only be allowed to enter Malaysia via KLIA and KLIA 2 entry points. International Students that attempt to enter Malaysia from other entry points will be denied entry and may risk being deported to their country of origin.

5.2. Students are required to comply with the mandatory quarantine for seven (7) or ten (10) days upon arrival to Malaysia before continuing their studies. This is subject to them furnishing their RT-PCR Covid-19 test results at the international arrival gate. International students that are not able to provide RT-PCR Covid-19 test results or if the test results are not valid/acceptable by Ministry of Health, the students will be subjected to a quarantine period of ten (10) days.

5.3. Kindly note that all fees imposed by the Government of Malaysia including the Covid-19 detection test, quarantine cost, and hospital admittance fee (if required) must be borne by the international student.

Once the quarantine period is completed, students will be issued with a Release Order by the National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA).

شروط الدراسة في ماليزيا:
يجب علي الطالب المقبل على الدراسة في ماليزيا أن يكون حاصل على شهادة الأيلتس أو التوفل ودرجة القبول فيهما حسب التخصص والجامعة.
واذا لم يكن الطالب قد حصل على شهادة الأيلتس أو التوفل فمن السهل علينا أن نحصل له على قبول مشروط أن يتم هذا الشرط قبل البدء بالدراسة.
أما أصحاب التخصصات الشرعية، أو التربية الإسلامية، واللغة العربية، فيمكنهم الحصول على قبول على أن تكون اللغة الإنجليزية شرط تخرج وليس شرط قبول.
علما أن هذه الجامعات لديها معاهد لغة توفر لك دراسة اللغة الإنجليزية في حالة عدم حصولك على شهادة الأيلتس أو التوفل.
