🍃🍃 Happy Hoppers 1 - 4 year olds 🍃🍃

The Fizzy Cups Experiment demonstrates a simple acid-base reaction. Baking soda, also known as sodium bicarbonate, acts as a base, while vinegar contains acetic acid, a weak acid. When the two substances are combined, they react to produce fizzy bubbles caused by the release of carbon dioxide gas.

🍃🍃 Happy Hoppers 2 - 4 year olds 🍃🍃

This week during the Little Chef lesson, the students learned how to make hot chocolate by following simple steps and measuring ingredients carefully. They added cocoa powder, milk powder, sugar, and warm water before mixing everything together. To make their drinks extra special, they topped them with whipped cream and colourful sprinkles. The students enjoyed preparing their own drinks independently and were excited to taste their homemade hot chocolate together. ☕✨

During Jolly Phonics revision, students learned about rhyming words with the “-at” sound. They took turns matching letters to create “-at” words, blended the sounds together, and confidently read the words aloud.
