Today's fun and messy activity had a deeper purpose — strengthening early literacy skills!

Through cutting, coloring, and pretending to grill their 'food,' the kids practiced fine motor skills, vocabulary building (naming different meats), sequencing (what goes on the grill first?), and expressive language as they described their food creations.

Activities like these may look simple, but they lay the foundation for stronger reading, writing, and speaking abilities later on.
