We are recruiting for workshop participants!

The objective of conducting this research is to identify the needs of senior citizens for the optimisation of the design and to enhance the performance of urban disaster management in Malaysia, with the aim to help build an equitable and age-inclusive and disaster-resilient urban space for the ageing population.
Therefore, we are looking for senior participants who have experience/been affected by natural disasters in Malaysia.

Workshop Dates:
12-29 July 2022

Workshop Eligibilities:
- Senior citizens (60yo and above) 

- Have experience/ been affected by natural disasters in Malaysia (etc. flood, landslides, tsunami)
- Malay (20pax) and Indian (10pax)

Objektif menjalankan penyelidikan ini adalah untuk mengenal pasti keperluan warga emas untuk mengoptimumkan reka bentuk dan untuk meningkatkan prestasi pengurusan bencana bandar di Malaysia, dengan matlamat untuk membantu membina ruang bandar yang saksama dan merangkumi umur serta tahan bencana untuk penduduk yang semakin tua.
Oleh itu, kami mencari peserta senior yang berpengalaman/terkena bencana alam di Malaysia.

Tarikh bengkel:
12-29 Julai 2022

Kelayakan Peserta Bengkel:
- Warga emas (60 tahun ke atas)
- Mempunyai pengalaman/ditimpa bencana alam di Malaysia (contohnya banjir, tanah runtuh, tsunami)
- Malay (20 orang) dan Indian (10 orang)
