Today was a fun day! Everyone got their library membership and picked out a book, or two or three! From the KL Library, we took a little walking tour around the birth place of Kuala Lumpur - Masjid Jamek, Medan Pasar and Lebuh Ampang.
We ended up at Papadom Restaurant and feasted (with our hands!) on Malaysian banana leaf - rice with delicious veggies, chicken, lamb and tofu.
All this while meeting new friends AND practicing English.
All in, a very excellent start to a long weekend!

We had a great time last month, visiting the National Art Galley. After roaming the gallery for an hour plus, we re-grouped at the restaurant and discussed which piece was our favorite and why.
And chatted about a lot of other things too!

We had a great time at our first Get Together!!! Thanks to everyone who came! ❤️
We chatted about Malaysian holidays and festivals and everyone shared their favourite holiday from their home. Some holiday favourites include the spring festival in Kazakhstan, the lunar new year in Korea, and New Year’s Eve in Japan, Eid al-Fitr in Iraq and Saudi Arabia (or Hari Raya as it’s called here in Malaysia) and Halloween in the US.
We broke fast together and enjoyed some delicious food.
The get together ended with a fun trivia quiz on Malaysian culture and festivals - which everyone passed 😆
