Turning Food Waste into Climate Action.
We are proud to announce our first collaboration with Subway Medical Centre Ipoh in advancing sustainable food waste management through Black Soldier Fly (BSF) bioconversion.
Under this initiative, food waste generated from the hospitalโs kitchen will be segregated and diverted from landfill, where it will instead be transformed into valuable resources through our BSF composting system. By embracing a circular economy approach, organic waste is converted into nutrient-rich organic fertilizer and sustainable insect protein, creating environmental value while reducing landfill dependency.
This collaboration reflects a shared commitment towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
๐ฑ SDG 12 โ Responsible Consumption and Production
๐ SDG 13 โ Climate Action
๐๏ธ SDG 11 โ Sustainable Cities and Communities
๐ค SDG 17 โ Partnerships for the Goals
At Kebun Rahsia BSF Farm, we believe that meaningful sustainability begins with practical actions. Every kilogram of food waste diverted from landfill contributes towards reducing greenhouse gas emissions, strengthening ESG performance, and building a more circular and resilient future.
We sincerely thank Subway Medical Centre Ipoh for placing their trust in us and taking this important step towards sustainable waste management.
We welcome collaborations with hospitals, schools, corporations, hotels, restaurants, municipalities, and organisations that are looking to implement impactful composting and organic waste diversion initiatives. Together, we can transform waste into valuable resources while creating measurable environmental and social impact.
