It’s that time of the year again! The Architecture Programme at the Faculty of Environment, UNIMAS opens its doors to the public, showcasing works from the 1st Semester of the 2025/2026 Session.
We welcome our latest cohort—Cohort 9 a.k.a . Though they are our juniors, their work goes far beyond expectations. In just 14 weeks, they produced four design projects ranging from mini objects to 1:1 scale installations, all under the theme “The Gallery.”
Their journey began with Artefact: An Object That Defines Me, a personal debut project translating identity, history, and aspiration into object form. This was followed by a Folly project which begins at Sarawak Cultural Village, where selected designs were realised as full-scale installations using discarded construction waste—creating seating, hideaway, and gathering spaces for the FBE community.
Their works are now open for all to experience—step into their space, witness their process, and perhaps fall in love with the beautiful yet demanding world of architectural design. See you soon!
