Google Drive's new feature: Projects!
Itβs basically a super smart assistant for your work files.
No need to waste time opening 10 folders just to find one thing. Just ask Gemini! It reads your Docs, Gmail, and Calendar all at once.
You can ask: "Who is free for a meeting?" or "Whatβs the update for this client?" and it finds the answer for you.
If you see it in your Drive menu, give it a try!

Weβve all been there. You spend an hour picking fonts and colors, but the end result feels cluttered. Itβs "busy" but not in a good way.
The secret isnβt just about having "artistic talent." Itβs actually about a few simple rules that most non-designers don't know. I was revisiting these core principles today, and these 3 are usually the biggest "culprits":
1οΈβ£ White Space (The "Breathing" Room): Most people try to fill every corner with words. Don't! White space is what lets your audience focus on whatβs important.
2οΈβ£ Hierarchy (The "Boss"): If every word is big and bold, nothing stands out. You need one "Hero" element to grab attention first.
3οΈβ£ Alignment (The "Barisan" Rule): The fastest way to look pro is to keep things in line. When elements are just floating around randomly, it looks unplanned.
Design is 10% tool and 90% logic. Once you learn the "why," the "how" becomes easy.
Whatβs your biggest struggle when youβre staring at a blank Canva page? Let me know in the comments!
Pssssttt, want to master the rest? Iβve put together a free e-book: "Basic Design Principles: 7 Top Graphic Design Principles We Use Everyday." Itβs designed specifically for beginners who want to stop guessing and start designing with confidence.
Comment "PRINCIPLES" below and Iβll send the download link to your inbox!
