Practical Work Automation with n8n & AI | Batch 4 | Chinese Session Batch 1

This was our first Chinese session for Practical Work Automation with n8n & AI.

To be honest, the crowd was small. Chinese session is still something we are testing for the Sabah market.

But the outcome made us proud.

All 3 participants managed to build their own automation based on real work processes, with some workflows reducing around 90% of the time spent on one repetitive task.

One built an automation to gather information and prepare reports automatically.

One built 3 automations, including 2 AI chatbots for her boss and colleagues, plus a vehicle expiry reminder for PUSPAKOM, road tax and insurance, with reminders sent through Telegram.

One built a client subscription reminder that can generate renewal documents with the correct details and provide a direct WhatsApp follow-up link.

Small class, but very real progress.

For us, this is part of our mission to be a bridge for Sabahans to learn and apply practical AI in English, BM and Chinese.

Our next Chinese intake will be on 20 – 21 July 2026.

If the response is not 热烈 enough, maybe Chinese session will become “limited edition” only 😄

OGSE Sabah 2026 | Sabah AI Association

AI adoption in Sabah is starting to move beyond classroom discussions.

At OGSE Sabah 2026, we had the opportunity to connect with different industry players, professionals, and organisations through the Sabah AI Association (SAIAS) booth.

The conversations were practical.

How can AI help businesses improve efficiency?
How can organisations start without being too technical?
How can local companies prepare their people for the next stage of digital work?

These are the questions more organisations in Sabah are beginning to ask.

For TrainMeister Academy, this aligns closely with our work in practical AI training and AI automation.

Build Your Own AI Assistant for Work | Practical Work Automation with ChatGPT | Batch 2

Not every meaningful session needs a big crowd.

With the long holiday period coming up in Sabah, some participants had to postpone their session. But we decided to continue with a focused small-group class.

For us, consistency matters.

If we want more people in Sabah to start using AI practically, we cannot only show up when the class is full. We have to keep running, keep sharing, and keep improving the way people learn AI.

And this small session turned out to be a good one.

Participants learned how to use ChatGPT beyond normal Q&A.

They were guided on how to reverse-engineer prompts, give clearer work instructions, set the right role and context, and build their own AI Assistant for specific work tasks.

What stood out was that even participants in their 60s were able to follow the process and set up their own AI Assistant.

This is exactly what we want people to see.

AI is not only for young people.
AI is not only for technical people.
With the right guidance, everyday office users can also start using it practically.

Small class, but meaningful progress.

Another meaningful 2-day session completed with INSAN Sabah.

This programme focused on helping participants explore how design thinking can be used to approach problems, generate ideas, and develop more practical solutions.

Throughout the session, participants were guided to look at challenges from different perspectives and apply a more structured way of thinking towards innovation.

Innovation does not always start with big ideas.

Sometimes, it starts with asking better questions, understanding the real problem, and building solutions that are more relevant to the people we serve.
