Walaupun kini telah memasuki zaman komputer elektronik, Abakus masih memainkan peranan penting dengan nilai budaya dan makna yang unik dalam beberapa aspek.

虽然现如今已进入了电子计算机时代，但是算盘仍然发挥着重要的作用，它独特的文化和所象征的智慧永远也不可被取代。

In today's world where computers are widely used, the ancient abacus hasn't been abandoned. Instead, due to its efficiency and accuracy, among other advantages, it continues to thrive in many countries.

算盘
算盘是一种古老的用于计算的计数工具。它在各个文明中独立产生，包括苏美尔人、埃及人和巴比伦人。值得注意的是，中国的算盘、罗马的算盘，以及日本的算盘都是著名的类型。算盘在贸易、金融和教育领域广泛使用。尽管由于现代计算器的出现，它的实际使用已经减少，但它在教授数学概念和心算技巧方面仍然具有重要价值。

Alat pengiraan kuno yang digunakan untuk pengiraan. Ia bermula secara bebas dalam pelbagai tamadun, termasuk Sumeria, Mesir, dan Babilonia. Khususnya, abakus China dan Rom serta soroban Jepun adalah jenis yang dikenali. Abakus digunakan meluas dalam perdagangan, kewangan, dan pendidikan sepanjang sejarah. 昨天，有2位刚进入大学的珠心算学生来中心找我。我们很自然聊起当时他们年幼学习珠心算的点点滴滴！还有去年一起去台湾比赛的趣事！
以下是他们和我分享学习珠心算对他们进入大学后的一些感想！
Yesterday, 2 of my students came to visit me.They both now are in University. We talked about the sweet memories when they learning in my centre when they were still in the primary school!
We also share a lot of our happy times when we visited Taiwan for the competition last year!
They also share with me about the advance of learning abacus and mental arithmetic, especially how much abacus help them in their studies!
