At JJaccqs we believe that children learn through movement. What is Educational Kinesiology? Highest potential means highest ability and NOT going beyond that.
Movement provides a route to learning - our programs are created by a licensed Educational Kinesiologist Consultant who work closely with other professionals in Kota Kinabalu. Educational comes from the Latin word 'educare' meaning to draw out
Kinesiology comes from the Geek word 'kinesis' is the study of the mechanics in human movement. Hence, Educational Kinesiology is a modality or approach

To all mums out there ~ a shout out to you for being a child’s ‘first responder’ from managing emotional outbursts to preparing a yummy
meal ~ love & hugs to you on this special day 🌷💕🌸🎀
Saturday art meet
up with Batik camara ~ thank you for coming over to Jumping Jaccqs !! We had a fantastic time 😃
Art has real advantages — especially for kids, but honestly for all of us.
For children, art does heavy lifting. Art promotes many beautiful things…
>Emotional outlet
>Builds brain connections
Art isn’t “just play.” Holding crayons & paint brushes = fine motor skills. Choosing colors = decision making. Finishing a piece = planning + patience. It wakes up both creative and logical parts of the brain
>Confidence without competition
There’s no “wrong” in art. A 5-year-old’s green cat is just as valid as a detailed portrait. For the Dyslexic Thinker or those who struggle academically, art is often where they shine first.
And…. art boosts communication

Two weekends of mini presentations done🥰
Mini presentations are great for kids — they’re like confidence + communication skills in a fun-sized package 🎀
Why they work:
Builds confidence: Speaking in front of peers, even for 2 minutes, helps kids get comfortable using their voice.
Develops thinking skills: They learn to organise ideas: intro, main point, wrap-up. That’s critical thinking in disguise.
Boosts language: Especially good for kids who are shy.
Encourages creativity: Posters, drawings, show-and-tell objects, slides.
