Of course you wanna indulge yourself into buying a new ride but this is what my perspective as a single mother/breadwinner of a middle income earner.

The exemption of SST by the government on 5th June 2020 (https://paultan.org/2020/06/05/100-sales-tax-exemption-for-ckd-cars-in-malaysia-does-this-mean-car-prices-will-go-down-by-10/) has knocked the door of people who hoped for a new change of ride, only found it disappointing after observing a small reduction in car prices by 2 - 3%. Haiya...... (Malaysian style sigh)

Okay, only those expensive cars which reached 6-figure can enjoy a 5-figure discount. So, enjoy it while you can.

Then, as a person who is desperate for a new ride, my second option is to buy a used car. There are so many in the market and I can even save some big portion of the money and be environmental friendly as to reuse and reduce. However, those used car dealers usually priced the cars atna marked up price! Double! Omg... How are you gonna sell them off!!?? Haiya.......

In the internet, there was an article saying hat this is a good time to buy a new car to initiate economy... It is a good advice because new cars have discounts and further discounts, vehicles are modern and boost the economy... But it's not gonna help the individual.... The person might get another 9 years of debta to the bank and no financial freedom.

This is the topic I wanted to mention:-

FINANCIAL FREEDOM!!!

Don't make yourself suffer just because you wanted a new car to show of to your friends... Behind those smiles of pride, there will be regret, suffering, no cash, insecurity and sadness behind the scene.

Since I've chosen a used car at lower price and good condition, God had given a great hint as to solve my problem, God also had given me angels around me. I'm so thankful and grateful. This moment will be forever in my memory.
