Penjaja dan peniaga kecil berperanan besar dalam memacu ekonomi negara ke arah yang lebih maju dan seterusnya menjadi negara berpendapatan tinggi.

Oleh yang demikian, Kerajaan telah menetapkan tarikh 18 November setiap tahun sebagai Hari Penjaja dan Peniaga Kecil (HPPK) bagi menghargai serta mengiktiraf golongan yang sangat penting buat ekonomi negara ini.

Kerajaan menerusi Kementerian Pembangunan Usahawan dan Koperasi (KUSKOP) mengucapkan selamat menyambut Hari Penjaja & Peniaga Kecil Tahun 2024 (HPPK2024) dengan tema “Berdaya Maju, Mampan, Lestari”.
