27/11/2023 - Kunjungan ke Sabah Society for the Deaf (SSD) oleh pelajar pelajar Semester 3 , Sijil Kemahiran Khas yang mengambil kursus Bahasa Melayu, diketuai oleh Ketua Jabatan Pn Qamariah binti Makmud, Ketua Kursus Bahasa Pn Siti Aznah binti Japilin dan pensyarah kursus, Pn Noraini binti Lunchin.

Jabatan Pengajian Am (JPA) yang merupakan rakan kolaborasi SSD, telah menjalankan banyak aktiviti bersama semenjak tahun 2017. Bukan sahaja aktiviti akademik, malahan juga aktiviti melibatkan komuniti orang Pekak di Sabah. Kunjungan kali ini diharapkan dapat menghidupkan kembali jalinan kolaborasi sedia ada dengan beberapa perancangan kolaborasi pada tahun hadapan.

Going International!

26/10/2023, International Webinar for Language and Literacy: Enhancing Positive Reading Habit. The participants consisted of PKK Students taking DUE10012 Communicative English 1 and international participants from Indonesia (Politeknik Pangkep, Politeknik Semariang, Politeknik Pontianak, Politeknik Srivijaya and Politeknik Medan) as well as from Central State University and Guimaras State University, Phillipine. It was an eye opening sharing from all the panels such as Dr Daron Benjamin Loo(UMS), Dr Malai Zeti Sheikh Abdul Hamid ( UTB, Brunei Darussalam) and Ms Melti Oktavianda (Polnep).

It was an honour to organize high impact educational programme, which also fulfilled the KPI for Internationalisation.

Well done, team ELU and JPA PKK!

Karnival SUKSES, 4-5 October 2023

ELU shared the festivity of Karnival SUKSES, State level held in Politeknik Kota Kinabalu Sabah. Students were able to engage in fun language activities such as charade, speaker's corner, word trains and tongue twister. It was exciting to have students from all over the state engaging themselves in all the English language activities - kudos to everyone!
