CityU Foundation and Certificate in Business students (MPU 2163 & MPU 1153 – Malaysian Studies) participated in the Wacana Ilmu Program focusing on key ideas from Historical Fact and Fiction by Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas.

The program aimed to enhance students understanding of Malay-Islamic thought, develop critical thinking in evaluating historical narratives and appreciate the contributions of intellectual scholars in shaping civilisation and identity. The session was delivered by Prof. Dr. Wan Mohd Nor Wan Daud (Professor of Philosophy) on 21 May 2026 at TAR-UMT, AlamMesra, and was accompanied by Mr. Mohammad Sham and Mr. Josrin Masandal.

This program is hoped to nurture a strong culture of knowledge, critical thinking, and appreciation of intellectual heritage among students.

MOU Signing Ceremony | 21 May 2026, Thursday

City Academy Sabah Branch has successfully signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with TASKA & TADIKA Lagenda Merpati and TASKA Saudey to strengthen strategic collaboration in early childhood education, skills development, and student industrial training opportunities.
