The first Principal was Mrs. She is assisted by 20 teachers and 3 support staff. During the opening of school, there are 11 classes, which is a transition class, five-grade classes, three classes of Form Three and Form Four two classes. This school has three main blocks, the blocks A, B and C. Block A houses science laboratories, workshops, life skills, and art room and gallery history. Block B houses office space, committee-room school examinations, teacher development and a library room and media room and running. Block C is a block class, counselling rooms and computer labs. Construction firm Square, Gazebo Science and Culture Center completed an enhancement to the school infrastructure development projects. The school is also concerned with beautifying the school with the construction of gardens and landscapes that can stimulate the intellect and creativity of students. Other facilities are in the pipeline, such as a covered parking, ornamental tree nursery center, a mini zoo and the development of the mosque. In response to the government through information and communication technology policy, the school move forward in completing the computer facilities and knowledge in order to provide quality teaching and learning. The school also has eGovernment implementation in schools. ESekolah database will be developed in the long-term plans. In 2005, SMK Seri Intan led by new principals, Ms. Hjh Tumirah binti Samat
with rhe strength of 56 teachers. Various facilities have been planned to be built through a process of improvement. the of Vision SMK Seri Intan is also given a new lease of life,
"SMK Seri Intan Being Hope School District Level National Centre for Year 2010." Starting in October 2007, SMK Seri Intan will get a new building block to be built in front of the school. The building will house administrative offices, laboratories and an open hall which is located under the block. Muslims SMK Seri Intan is also planning to build a mosque for religious activities. During the year, school buildings have been repainted with a new look.
