Long ago, animals chose their colors. The tapir woke up late and almost all the colors were gone! The Forest Spirit said, “Only some pieces are left. Do you want them?”
So the tapir got black in the front, white in the middle, and black at the back. It looked funny, but the tapir was happy. Finally, it had its own special coat!
