Children learned the huruf “h” for hujan (rain). They pretended to be in the rain while holding umbrella with the teacher’s help. The teacher sprayed water from above to make it feel like real rain. This activity encouraged participation, while creating a joyful learning experience.

As part of the 50th Anniversary celebration of Beaconhouse, 🤩 our teachers and students enjoyed stories from the beautifully curated coffee table book Once Upon A Time that reflects the values we embed in the next generation of learners in the Beaconhouse family.

This World Book Day, 📚 we celebrate the power of books and storytelling. Our teachers and school leaders are proud to be part of this special tribute as we chart our journey further, staying true to our motto “Seek the Light” that represents a commitment to seeking knowledge, enlightenment, and truth through education ✨

The children explored clipping and hanging items on a mini clothesline. They carefully used the clothespins to attach pieces onto the string, showing focus and determination while completing each step.

This activity helped the children strengthen their fine motor skills, especially their finger muscles, as they squeezed and controlled the clips. They also practiced hand-eye coordination and developed better concentration as they aligned the items onto the line.

The children enjoyed an art activity called ice painting. They explored colours by using ice to paint on paper, watching how the colours melt and mix. This activity helped develop their creativity and fine motor skills. 🎨❄️
