Through meaningful, real-life experiences, children learn language in a way that is concrete and engaging.
In our language lesson, children explored and learned to differentiate the character “净” (clean) and “肮脏” (dirty).
Through a simple science experiment, pepper was used to represent “germs.” When washing hands with water only, the “germs” remained. However, once soap was added, the “germs” quickly moved away, showing how hands become truly clean with soap.
Through hands-on experience and observation, children developed a clearer understanding of “clean” versus “dirty,” while strengthening their word recognition and usage. This meaningful approach connects language learning with real-life experiences in a fun and engaging way. ✨
通过贴近生活的体验活动，孩子们在真实情境中学习语言，让认字变得更具体、更有意义。
在语言课中，孩子们学习认识与理解“净”、“肮”、“脏”这些词语。
通过一个有趣的科学小实验，孩子们用胡椒粉模拟“细菌”。在没有使用肥皂时，即使用清水洗手，“细菌”仍然留在手上；当加入肥皂后，“细菌”马上散开，手也变得更“干净”了。
在亲身体验与观察中，孩子们更具体地理解了“干净”与“肮脏”的区别，同时也加强了对相关词语的认读与运用能力。这样的学习让语言与生活紧密结合，既有趣又有意义。✨

🌏 Earth Day: Small Hands, Big Green Plans

It starts small…
A touch, a question, a moment of wonder.

👶 At 2 & 3, they begin to know the Earth, and learn to love her.
🧒 At 4, they ask: “Why is the whale eating rubbish?”
🧑 At 5, they take action: planting with recycled cups & growing their own food
🧑‍🎓 At 6, they take responsibility: sorting, separating, and caring for the environment through our weekly recycling work

今天的语言课，孩子们学习认识与区分汉字“洗”和“澡”。🧼

孩子们自带刷子、脏袜子、水桶和肥皂，通过亲手清洗的活动，将学习融入真实生活情境中。在动手操作的过程中，孩子们不断观察、讨论，并练习使用相关词汇。

透过这样的体验式学习，不仅帮助孩子理解“洗”和“澡”的不同用法，也有效加强了他们的认字能力，让学习变得更具体、有趣且有意义。

In today’s language lesson, the children learned to recognize and differentiate the Chinese characters “洗” (wash) and “澡” (bathe). 🧼

The children brought their own brushes, dirty socks, buckets, and soap, and took part in a hands-on washing activity that connects learning to real-life situations. Through this process, they observed, discussed, and practiced using related vocabulary.

This kind of experiential learning not only helps children understand the different uses of “洗” and “澡,” but also strengthens their character recognition skills, making learning more concrete, engaging, and meaningful.

🌱 Dig, Plant, Grow! 🌱

Little hands, big learning!

Our 5-year-olds explored the world of seeds through hands-on discovery, digging, planting, and observing by touching and looking at vegetables and seeds.

From cracking peanut shells (pressing, pushing, squeezing!) to planting onion, garlic, and mung beans, every step was filled with curiosity.

Through watering and caring for their plants, children learn responsibility, patience, and love for the environment. 🌿

This project goes beyond planting, it’s about understanding how things grow and what plants need. They also build cooperation as they work and share ideas.

🌼 Growing not just plants, but young minds and caring hearts.

🔥 Bakar Sate from Scratch! 🔥

Our little explorers did bakar sate from start to finish, skewering the meat, building a fire with charcoal, dry leaves, bamboo and garden sticks, then grilling the satay together.

Lots of teamwork, careful observation, cheering when the fire started, and learning how to tell when the meat was cooked.

Fun, teamwork, and real hands-on learning all in one experience 🍢
