🌟 From Year 8 Checkpoint to IGCSE A* — A Journey Worth Celebrating!🌟
Today is a very happy day for me as a teacher. ❤️
One of my students, Owen, received his **May 2026 IGCSE results** today:
🏆 IGCSE Mathematics — A*
🏆 IGCSE Accounting — A*
He has been learning with me since Year 8 Checkpoint, and I have watched him grow from a young student into a much more focused and serious learner.
As his IGCSE exams got closer, I could see him becoming more determined. He worked hard, practised consistently and took his studies seriously.
Sometimes, he became *too* serious! 😄
I often reminded him:
“Work hard, but don't overstress yourself. Do your best, stay consistent and trust the process.”
Today, all those years of effort finally paid off. Two A*s! 🎉👏
But the funniest part came when I asked him:
“What is your next plan?”
His reply:
“Buy you a Lamborghini as a reward.” 😂🏎️
I replied, “Got. at the Shell station. waiting for it!” 😂
This conversation really made my day.
Of course, the Lamborghini is a joke. What truly makes a teacher happy is seeing a student achieve the goal that we have worked towards together for so many years.
Good results are rarely created overnight.
They come from building a strong foundation, correcting weaknesses, practising consistently, learning from mistakes and not giving up when things become difficult.
From Year 8 Checkpoint ➡️ IGCSE ➡️ A* in Mathematics & Accounting, I am grateful to have been part of his journey.
Congratulations, Owen! 🎓🌟
You earned this result through your own hard work and determination.
Now go and enjoy your achievement…
Teacher is still waiting at Shell for the Lamborghini. 😂🏎️⛽
