🎓✨ Looking Ahead: Exploring What Comes Next

Our recent Parent-Teacher Conference & Education Fair brought together parents, teachers, students, and education providers for a day of conversations about the future.

As part of the school’s initiative to support our Year 11 students as they consider their next steps, we welcomed representatives from Methodist College Kuala Lumpur, Singapore Education Services, UniKL, Flinders University, and Peninsula College, alongside graduating students from SMK La Salle.

The Education Fair gave our students the opportunity to explore different study pathways, ask questions, and gather information about courses and career options that align with their interests, strengths, and academic results.

From local colleges and universities to international study opportunities, having access to a range of perspectives allowed our students to start thinking more clearly about the possibilities ahead — and what might be the right path for them.

Meanwhile, our Parent-Teacher Conference provided a valuable opportunity for parents and teachers to come together, discuss student progress, and share insights as our students continue working towards their goals. 🤝

A big thank you to all the institutions, educators, parents, teachers, and students who made the day meaningful. 🎓💙

🛑💬 Standing Up Against Bullying

What counts as bullying? How can it affect someone? And what should we do if we ever find ourselves being bullied?

Our students explored these important questions during an Anti-Bullying in Schools talk with a guest speaker from PDRM. 👮‍♂️

Through the session, they learned to recognise different forms of bullying, understand the impact it can have on others, and most importantly, know when and how to seek help.

It was an informative and meaningful session that gave our students practical knowledge they can carry with them — whether they experience bullying themselves or see it happening to someone else.

🛑💬 Standing Up Against Bullying ✋🏼❗

Our students took part in an important and informative **Anti-Bullying in Schools talk today, featuring guest speaker Inspector Akmal from PDRM.

The session gave our students a clearer understanding of what can be considered bullying, the impact that bullying can have on others, and why our words and actions matter. More importantly, students learned what they can do if they ever find themselves being bullied — including how to respond, when to seek help, and who they can turn to for support.

It was a valuable opportunity for our students to ask questions, gain a better understanding of the issue, and leave with practical knowledge that they can carry with them both in and outside of school.

A big thank you to our PDRM guest speaker Inspector Akmal for taking the time to speak with our students and help us build a safer, kinder school community. 💙

🌊🐠 Putting the fun in learning!

Our Preschool Bridging students recently explored the wonderful world beneath the waves during their English class, learning about different sea creatures and the names that make our oceans so fascinating. 🐙🦀🐢

To help bring what they had learned to life, our young learners got creative with soft clay and made their very own sea creatures! From shaping and moulding to adding all the little details, it was a fun way to revisit what they had learned while letting their imaginations run wild. 🎨✨

🍛🇲🇾 A Taste of Malaysia, One Dish at a Time! 🇲🇾🍴

As part of our Merdeka Co-Curricular Activities, our students took us on a delicious journey through Malaysia’s rich food heritage with our Heritage Food Trail! 🎉

Working alongside their teachers, students prepared their own booths, each centred around a traditional Malaysian dish — from colourful assorted kuih and fragrant nasi lemak, to chapati, crispy pai tee, and even the unique ambuyat.

As groups of students made their way around the Heritage Food Trail, each booth welcomed its visitors with a presentation about their chosen dish. 📖✨ Students manning the booths shared the history, origins, cultural significance, and the stories behind their dish before inviting their fellow students and teachers to try it for themselves.

It was wonderful to see them confidently explaining what they had discovered, answering questions from their peers, and sharing a little piece of Malaysia’s heritage with everyone who visited their booth. And, of course, getting to taste the dishes afterwards was a pretty great reward! 😋

From research and preparation to presenting and sharing, the Heritage Food Trail was a wonderful opportunity for our students to learn about Malaysian heritage, share their knowledge, and celebrate our diverse food culture together. ❤️🇲🇾

🇲🇾 Selamat Hari Merdeka! 🇲🇾

Today, as Malaysia celebrates 69 years of independence, we take a moment to appreciate just how far we have come—not only as a nation, but as a people.

Our journey has been shaped by many different communities, cultures, traditions, and generations, each contributing in their own way to the Malaysia we know today. While our differences may make us unique, it is our ability to come together, understand one another, and look out for one another that makes this country so special. ❤️

From our students learning alongside one another, to teachers and parents coming together to support them, we see that same spirit of togetherness in our own community every day. It is in the little things—being kind to one another, making space for different perspectives, and simply looking out for the people around us—that we continue to grow together.

As we celebrate Merdeka, may we also appreciate the people who make Malaysia what it is, and look forward to the many more years of growth, progress, and shared memories ahead.

After months of hard work, dedication, and perseverance, our students finally got to see the results of their IGCSE Language examinations—and their reactions were priceless!
From surprise and disbelief to huge smiles, cheers, and even a few emotional moments, every reaction tells a story. Behind each result are countless hours of studying, moments of struggle, determination, and the focus it took to keep pushing forward.
And they weren't celebrating alone. Watching our teachers and parents share in their excitement and pride made the moment even more special. 🥹👏
