๐Ÿซ Open Day at Sanctus: Where Learning Comes Alive ๐Ÿ•โœจ

Our guests had a blast stepping into the role of young chefs โ€” creating their own pizzas during our recent Open Day.

Ingredients in their hands, choices to make, and plenty of excitement along the way โ€” moments like these offer a glimpse into how we approach learning at Sanctus. Hands-on, engaging, and never afraid to get a little messy.

Come Take a Look at What Our Year 7s Built! ๐ŸŒง๏ธ

From evaporation to rainfall, our year 7 students didnโ€™t just explain the water cycle process โ€” they demonstrated it with a working model, complete with real water circulation powered by a pump. It was a brilliant display of creativity, understanding, and teamwork in action.

Seeing our students take ownership of their learning and present it with such confidence is what makes moments like these so rewarding.

Ending Term 1 with a Splash ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’ฆ

After a focused and determined exam season, our Key Stage 3 and 4 students wrapped up Term 1 with a well-deserved day out at SplashMania @ Gamuda Cove.

Beyond the excitement and laughter, moments like these give students the space to reset, reconnect with peers, and recharge after weeks of academic focus. Building friendships, confidence, and positive shared experiences plays an important role in supporting their overall wellbeing and readiness for the term ahead.

Ending the term on a high note, our students leave not only with a sense of accomplishment, but with renewed energy โ€” ready for what comes next.

Growing Together in Our Preschool Bridging Classroom ๐ŸŒฑ

In our Preschool Bridging classroom, students explored what plants need to grow โ€” from water and sunlight to care and time.

As they observed the process of germination, they began to understand that growth doesnโ€™t happen all at once. It takes patience, attention, and the right environment โ€” just like their own learning journeys.

Through moments like these, our students not only learn how plants grow, but grow alongside them โ€” nurturing curiosity, care, and a quiet appreciation for the world around them.

A Look Back: Learning in Action ๐ŸŒฟ

Earlier this year, our Year 1 students explored how water moves through plants through a simple yet fascinating hands-on activity.

By observing dyed water travel up a celery stalk, students were able to see the process unfold before their eyes โ€” turning an abstract idea into something real and memorable. Moments like these invite curiosity, spark questions, and help young learners make sense of the world around them.

Even the smallest discoveries can leave the biggest impressions โ€” nurturing the thrill of learning from a young age.

๐Ÿ”ฌ A closer look under the microscope with our Year 7 students!

A few months ago, our students stepped into the science lab to prepare their own cell slides and observe them under the microscope โ€” a hands-on experience that brought their learning to life. From handling the equipment to focusing their observations, they worked through each step with curiosity and care.

Looking back, itโ€™s moments like these that build confidence and spark deeper interest โ€” when students realise that science isnโ€™t just something they read about, but something they can explore for themselves.

Ready for Term 1 Exams ๐Ÿ“˜

As our students step into their Term 1 examinations, our exam coordinators and Principal share a few words of encouragement to guide them through the week.

Exams are not just about results, but about effort, growth, and the discipline built along the way. With preparation, focus, and a calm mindset, every student is capable of doing their best.

Weโ€™re cheering you on every step of the way โ€” stay focused, believe in yourself, and go show what youโ€™re capable of!

What does Hari Raya feel like at Sanctus? ๐ŸŒ™โœจ

It looks like laughter during games, the rhythm of performances, and a school coming together in celebration.

It sounds like cheerful voices, friendly competition, and shared moments that bring everyone closer.

It tastes like Nasi Lemak and Ayam Goreng Berempah โ€” familiar, comforting, and best enjoyed together.

At Sanctus International School, itโ€™s more than a celebration. Itโ€™s how our community experiences culture โ€” side by side, in the moments that matter.

Our Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration brought the school together in a day filled with joy, laughter, and shared traditions.

From lively performances to fun, Raya-themed games, the atmosphere was filled with energy and excitement โ€” with students and teachers alike fully embracing the spirit of the celebration. It was in these simple, joyful moments that the true meaning of 'satu bangsa, satu jiwa' came alive.

The experience was made even more special with a festive spread of Nasi Lemak and Ayam Goreng Berempah, bringing everyone together over familiar flavours that reflect the richness of the season.

At Sanctus, celebrations like these create space for our community to connect, experience, and appreciate the traditions that make Malaysia so uniquely vibrant.

Growing Little Friendships ๐ŸŒธ

In our Year 2 classroom, something special began to grow โ€” little Friendship Trees, made with care, colour, and kind hearts. ๐ŸŒฟโœจ

Each flower carried a thought about what it means to be a good friend โ€” sharing, helping, being kind โ€” along with the names of friends who make their days brighter.

Through moments like these, our students learn that friendship isnโ€™t just something we talk about โ€” itโ€™s something we grow, gently and thoughtfully, every day.
