Wonder Woods Preschool at PECERA Conference 2026!

It was truly an honour for Wonder Woods Preschool to be part of PECERA Conference 2026 in Singapore and to have the opportunity to present our Wonder Woods merchandise bag to Professor Jean Yeung, Director, Social Sciences at the A*STAR Institute for Human Development and Potential, Singapore.

For us, this small gesture represents something meaningful — our appreciation for the work, research, and contributions that continue to shape and strengthen the field of early childhood education and human development. 🌱

We are grateful for the opportunity to connect, learn, and be part of conversations that inspire us to continue growing and improving as an early childhood education community.

It was certainly a memorable moment for Wonder Woods Preschool, and we look forward to more meaningful connections and collaborations ahead! 🤝✨

Patience… patience… and more patience! ❤️

Creating the Jalur Gemilang takes little hands, big concentration, and LOTS of patience! 😄✨

Our children had so much fun working on their Malaysian flag, carefully putting the pieces together and learning about the colours, symbols, and meaning behind our national flag.

More than just an art activity, it’s an opportunity for our little ones to practise fine motor skills, focus, patience, teamwork, and perseverance — one little piece at a time. 🥰

📞 Our Cup Phone Invention! 📞

Today, the children explored the fun science behind a cup phone!🥤🧵 They discovered how sound can travel through the string and learned that our voices create vibrations.

It was a simple experiment, but a wonderful way for the children to learn through exploring, experimenting and having fun!🔍✨

One of the greatest moments in teaching is when children can confidently tell you what they plan to work on, and your role is simply to guide them toward the materials they need. That sense of autonomy is at the heart of meaningful learning—it nurtures confidence, curiosity, and independence.

Today in our STEAM Education classroom, our young innovators let their creativity shine! 🌟

Using their imagination, problem-solving skills, and hands-on learning, the children designed and built their very own unique creations. The best part? Every creation was given a special name by its creator, making each one truly one of a kind! 💡✨

It’s amazing to see how STEAM learning encourages children to think creatively, explore new ideas, and confidently bring their imaginations to life. Every build tells a story, and every child is proud of what they have created.

We are so proud of our little inventors and can’t wait to see what they dream up next! 🚀🛠️🎨

Can Montessori children read and write? ✨

The answer is a big YES! 💛

In Montessori, we don’t rush children into reading and writing. Instead, we nurture a love for language by introducing letter sounds and written forms in a hands-on, joyful way.

Last year, our children were busy scribbling, strengthening their hands, and practising cutting. Those seemingly simple activities built the foundation they needed. Today, they’re confidently drawing, forming letters, and even writing short phrases!

The most magical part? Watching the moment they realise, “I can do this!” ✨ The sparks in their eyes, the excitement, and the pride they feel are simply priceless.

This is what learning should feel like—not pressure, but discovery. Not memorisation, but confidence. One small step at a time, children unlock abilities they never imagined they had.

This is learning. This is confidence. This is the Montessori journey. 🌱💛
