Here is another one! I’m not really a metal drummer but I do enjoy playing music with higher intensity!!

The student I was preparing for is 13 year old and it was his first ever drum competition!

He did an absolutely fantastic job executed the drum parts! And he also got into the final round!

Last year, I was preparing drum parts for my 7 year old student for his drum competition.

✅ My priority has always been to create the most musical part within their drumming ability.

✅ But creativity is subtraction. In order to be creative is to limits yourself!

I had a great time creating those drums parts! The competition went very well and he got into the final!

I’m trying out the Gretsch snare and mic that send me few weeks ago.

I love the brass snare a lot and It’s something I’ve been really wanted to have!

The microphones are playing a big part in helping me reaching the recording sound I’ve been slowly building towards.

Chasing the sonic goal I have in mind is a constant work in progress, but compared to 4 years ago, I’m happy with where I’m now but I’m always looking for opportunities to go one step further 🥁

Shout out for providing me the best of both world!
