“Doing the Little Things Well Is Also a Skill”

A simple square piece of cloth may seem ordinary,
but it holds many valuable life skills.

We guided the children to learn how to lay the cloth flat, align the edges, fold it neatly, and put it away properly. ✨

Through repeated practice, the children were learning more than just how to fold a piece of cloth. They were developing important self-care and life skills:

👐 Learning to take care of their belongings
📐 Learning to observe and align carefully
🧠 Developing focus and patience
💪 Strengthening hand coordination and fine motor skills
🌱 Learning to complete a task properly from beginning to end

We believe that true growth doesn’t happen only in the classroom or through textbooks.

Learning is important, but knowing how to take care of oneself is just as important.
Being able to complete small tasks independently is a big step towards becoming more independent. ❤️

🍕 从课本走出来的字母学习｜Letter P

对三岁的孩子来说，语言学习不只是坐着看课本、跟着老师念一念。

老师从课本中的字母 **P** 延伸出孩子熟悉的单词 **Pizza**，先带领孩子聆听和模仿 **P 的发音**，再通过图片、认字和互动提问，帮助孩子把字母、声音与单词连接起来。

接着，孩子们亲手为“大披萨”加入不同的配料，在找一找、选一选、贴一贴的过程中，加深对学习内容的印象，同时练习：

🔤 字母辨认与发音
👀 观察与认知能力
🗣️ 词汇理解与表达
🤲 手眼协调与精细动作
🤝 轮流参与及专注聆听

课本是学习的起点，而丰富的活动让知识变得看得见、听得到，也能亲手操作。

当孩子开心地参与、主动地回应，学习就不再只是“记住一个字母”，而是真正理解并建立对语言的兴趣。❤️

🍕 Learning Beyond the Textbook | Letter P

For three-year-old children, language learning is more than simply looking at a textbook and repeating after the teacher.

Using the letter **P** from the textbook, the teacher extended the lesson by introducing the familiar word **“Pizza.”** The children listened to and practised the **/p/ sound**, recognised the letter and connected the sound with the word through pictures, questions and interactive learning.

Next, the children added different toppings to a large pizza artwork. Through choosing, finding and pasting the toppings, they strengthened their understanding while developing:

🔤 Letter recognition and phonics
👀 Observation and thinking skills
🗣️ Vocabulary and communication
🤲 Hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
🤝 Listening, turn-taking and active participation

The textbook is the starting point, while meaningful hands-on activities bring learning to life.

When children learn through listening, speaking, observing and doing, they do not merely memorise a letter—they understand it and gradually develop a genuine interest in language learning. ❤️

Our 3-year-olds had lots of fun practising their throwing skills through a simple and exciting Bean Bag Toss activity.

With every toss, they were developing:

🌟 6岁班学习区｜专注“工作”的小小学习者

在学习区时间里，孩子们可以根据自己的兴趣，自主选择不同的“工作”。有人用画笔大胆创作，有人操作黏土和模具，也有人运用积木、磁力片及建构材料，尝试设计和搭建自己的作品。

孩子们在操作中认真观察、反复尝试，并根据自己的想法进行调整。有时独立完成，有时与同伴分享材料、交流方法，一起解决遇到的小问题。

学习区不只是玩耍的空间，更是孩子练习专注、选择、计划、创造与合作的地方。每一次动手操作，都是他们主动探索和建立学习能力的过程。✨

🌟 6-Year-Old Learning Corners | Little Learners at “Work”

During learning corner time, the children independently chose activities based on their interests. Some expressed their ideas through painting, while others explored playdough, building blocks, magnetic tiles and different construction materials.

As they worked, the children observed carefully, experimented with different methods and made adjustments to improve their creations. They also practised working independently, sharing materials, exchanging ideas and solving simple problems with their friends.

Learning corners are more than spaces for play. They allow children to develop concentration, independence, creativity, planning and cooperation through meaningful hands-on experiences. ✨

🦷 3岁班生活自理活动｜我会正确刷牙

孩子们化身“小小护牙员”，一起认识正确的刷牙步骤！老师先通过刷牙步骤图，引导孩子观察刷牙的方法，再让孩子使用牙齿模型和小牙刷亲自练习。

孩子们认真地刷一刷、看一看，尝试清洁牙齿的不同位置，也学习每天早晚刷牙，保护自己的小牙齿。通过简单又有趣的操作活动，孩子们不但建立了良好的口腔卫生意识，也锻炼了手眼协调与生活自理能力。✨

🦷 3-Year-Old Life Skills Activity | I Can Brush My Teeth

Our children became little “tooth protectors” and learned the correct way to brush their teeth! The teacher introduced the brushing steps using a visual guide, followed by a hands-on practice with a dental model and toothbrush.

The children carefully practised brushing different parts of the teeth while learning the importance of brushing every morning and night. Through this fun and meaningful activity, they developed good oral hygiene habits, hand-eye coordination and basic self-care skills. ✨
