Smart Kidsland Childcare And Kindergarten

Our kindergarten's National Day celebration was vibrant and engaging. The children are dressed in multicultural costumes, reflecting the diversity of Malaysia. The morning started with a photo session, followed by a National Day parade, singing of patriotic songs, and a dance performance. We introduced the children to a variety of multicultural foods, including kuih apam, doughnuts, kuih bahulu, roti canai, and Chinese kuih, with the highlight being a "Teh Tarik" demonstration where the kids got hands-on experience. We also reviewed Malaysia's history of independence with a fun quiz, and later in the day, the children enjoyed games related to Malaysia.

Our kindergarten children recently enjoyed an educational visit to the AOB Dental Clinic. We are grateful to the clinic for offering this wonderful opportunity, where the kids learned about dental hygiene and received free dental check-ups. It was a valuable experience that helped our young learners understand the importance of caring for their teeth in a fun and engaging way.

Our Family Fun Day, held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM at our school, was a resounding success! Parents and children came together for a morning filled with games, fun, and wonderful interactive activities. The event fostered a strong sense of community, with 99% of families turning up to participate.

The day concluded with a delightful potluck lunch, where families enjoyed a variety of dishes together. We are deeply grateful to all the parents who took time from their busy schedules to share this special day with their children. Thank you for making this event so memorable!

Field Trip Adventure Recap! 🍓🐝

We had an amazing time on our field trip on June 26, 2024! The day was packed with fun, learning, and unforgettable experiences. Here’s a look back at the adventures we shared:

🌿 Fruits Farm Visit: The kids explored the fascinating world of Jaboticaba and Abiu fruits! They learned how these unique fruits grow and even got to taste some freshly squeezed fruit juice. 🍇🍋

🐝 Bee Farm Exploration: We took a close look at buzzing bees and learned all about the different kinds of bees and their important roles in the hive. Our little explorers were buzzing with excitement! 🐝🍯

🌱 Potting Experience & Veggie Picking: Each child got the chance to pot their own plant and pick fresh vegetables straight from the farm. It was a hands-on lesson in where our food comes from! 🥕🌽

🐾 Animal Petting: The kids met friendly farm animals up close and made some new furry and feathered friends. 🐇🐑

🎣 Fishing Fun: We headed to the creek with nets to catch small, live fish. It was a fantastic adventure that left everyone with big smiles and great memories! 🐟

The eagerly anticipated first field trip of the school year was an exhilarating journey to Fire Station Johor Bahru and Space and Me Exhibition located at Toppen accompanied by enthusiastic teachers and buzzing with excitement, students embarked on an unforgettable adventure to both locations.

Our first stop was the Larkin Fire Station, where the children were immersed in the world of fire safety and community heroism. Led by dedicated firefighters, students learned vital lessons in fire prevention, emergency response, and the importance of community preparedness. Hands-on exploration of fire trucks and equipment brought classroom lessons to life, fostering a deep appreciation for the bravery and selflessness of our local heroes.

From the fire station, our adventure soared to celestial heights with a visit to the Space and You Exhibition. Here, amidst dazzling exhibits and interactive displays, students embarked on an awe-inspiring exploration of aerospace and the universe. With wide-eyed wonder, they donned space suits and stepped into the shoes of astronauts, experiencing firsthand the challenges and triumphs of space exploration.

Throughout the day, curiosity flourished, and minds expanded as students engaged with real-life firefighters and seasoned experts in space science. Laughter and excitement filled the air, mingling with the hum of learning and discovery.

As the day drew to a close, students returned to school brimming with newfound knowledge, a deeper sense of community responsibility, and dreams of reaching for the stars. The first field trip of the school year not only broadened their horizons but also ignited a passion for learning and exploration that will guide them far into the future.

✨2023 Annual Concert✨

Our kindergarten's Annual Concert is a cherished tradition, a moment to celebrate the achievements of all our children and honour the graduating class of K2 students as they complete their kindergarten journey. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the parents for their unwavering support, and their presence at this event is truly appreciated.

The Annual Concert was a resounding success, with all the children delivering outstanding performances. They looked absolutely stunning in their costumes and wowed the audience with their dance routines.

For the graduating class, emotions ran high as we listened to their heartfelt speeches. With immense pride and joy, we watched as our Kindergarten graduates showcased their remarkable talents. Their dedication and hard work culminated in a spectacular musical drama, weaving together enchanting themes from "Friend Like Me," "Arabian Nights," "Speechless," and "A Whole New World." Their dramatic performances were a testament to their talent and creativity, and we couldn't be prouder of their accomplishments.

In addition to these remarkable performances, the Nursery 1 class stole the audience's hearts with their delightful dance performance to the enchanting melody of "Beauty and the Beast." Their innocence and enthusiasm captivated everyone in attendance, adding an extra touch of magic to the evening.
The magic continued with the Nursery 2 class, as their tiny feet marched and twirled to tell the enchanting story of Snow White and her seven lovable companions. It was a performance filled with joy and a touch of Disney magic, leaving the audience spellbound.

Lastly, the K1 class took us on an exciting journey with their vibrant dance performance. The theme they chose, the lively and spirited "Waka-Waka," brought energy and enthusiasm to the stage, captivating everyone with their infectious enthusiasm.
It was truly a memorable evening, filled with laughter, tears, and applause. We are grateful to everyone who made this event possible and look forward to witnessing the future successes of our young stars.
