Call for Papers: Advances in Sustainable Water and Environmental Technologies (ASWET)
Dear Authors,
We are pleased to invite you to submit original research articles, review papers, and case studies to Advances in Sustainable Water and Environmental Technologies (ASWET), an international, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the fields of environmental, civil, and chemical engineering.
ASWET publishes innovative research that supports sustainable water management, environmental protection, and green technologies, aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 6, 7, 11, 12, and 13. We welcome high-quality contributions from academia, industry, and policymakers worldwide in, but not limited to, the following thematic areas:
Sustainable Water Systems and Technologies
• Advanced water and wastewater treatment technologies (e.g., membrane separation, adsorption)
• Water reuse, recycling, and resource recovery
• Sustainable urban drainage systems and green infrastructure
• Smart monitoring, modelling, and management of water resources
• Real-time water quality monitoring and smart water network systems
• Desalination, brine management, and energy-efficient water processes
• Energy recovery from waste and wastewater treatment systems
• Nature-based solutions for water purification and ecosystem restoration
Environmental Remediation and Pollution Control
• Air, water, and soil pollution monitoring, modelling, and mitigation
• Emerging contaminants (e.g., microplastics, nanoplastics, pharmaceuticals, PFAS)
• Industrial waste valorisation and circular economy approaches
• Environmental nanotechnology and functional materials for pollutant removal
• Risk assessment, life-cycle analysis (LCA), and environmental impact evaluation
Sustainable Chemical and Process Engineering
• Carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) technologies
• Green chemistry and catalytic processes for pollution abatement
• Process intensification and cleaner production systems
• Biomass- and waste-derived materials for environmental applications
• Green hydrogen production, storage, and utilization
Climate Resilience and Environmental Sustainability
• Climate-resilient and low-carbon building materials and construction techniques
• Air quality management and greenhouse gas mitigation strategies
• Water–energy–food nexus and integrated resource management
• Environmental policy, governance, and sustainability transition pathways
• Digitalization, AI, and IoT applications in sustainable environmental engineering
