Alhamdulillah, another meaningful day of the International Leadership & Islamic Civilization Programme (ILICP) 2026 has come to a close. Today’s campus visit offered our delegates a unique opportunity to experience USIM’s academic environment, innovation, Islamic scholarship, and inclusive learning facilities.

Counselling Laboratory – FKP
Participants explored the role of counselling and gained insights into how professional counselling supports students’ emotional well-being and personal development.

Radio Studio – FKP
They experienced the world of broadcasting and learned how communication, creativity, and media can be used to share meaningful messages with society.

Meet & Greet with the Vice Chancellor’s Office
The meeting provided an opportunity for meaningful dialogue, cultural exchange, and sharing of perspectives on Islamic leadership and higher education.

Hadith Laboratory – FPQS
Participants discovered how technology and practical learning can support the study and understanding of Hadith.

Tarannum Laboratory – FPQS
They were introduced to the art of Quranic recitation, appreciating the importance of melody, pronunciation, and preserving the beauty of Quranic recitation.

Malaysian Sign Language (BIM) Sharing – UMMI
Participants gained awareness of inclusive communication and experienced how sign language helps create a more accessible and inclusive society.

Braille Laboratory – UMMI
They learned about Braille and the importance of accessible education for individuals with visual impairment.

Genba Bakery – pKUU
The visit showcased entrepreneurship in action, giving participants insights into how skills, creativity, and innovation can be transformed into real business opportunities.

Halal Laboratory – IFFAH
Participants gained a better understanding of Malaysia’s halal ecosystem and how scientific analysis and quality assurance support halal products and standards.

USIM Learning Space & Library Tour
The day concluded with a tour of the library and learning spaces, allowing participants to experience USIM’s learning environment and discover facilities that support academic development.

Alhamdulillah, another meaningful day of the International Leadership & Islamic Civilization Programme (ILICP) 2026 has come to a close.

Today, our participants experienced the warmth and authenticity of Malaysian village life at Homestay Lonek, Negeri Sembilan. The day was filled with meaningful cultural activities, including traditional rakyat games, catching fish by hand, making traditional dodol, pounding rice, exploring the village, and enjoying a nostalgic village tram ride.

Participants also had the opportunity to taste traditional Malaysian food and interact with the local community, gaining a deeper appreciation of Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage, traditions, and way of life.

It was more than just a cultural visit — it was a hands-on experience that created meaningful connections, cherished memories, and a deeper appreciation of Malaysia’s heritage.

ILICP 2026 — Connecting Leadership, Civilization, Culture & Community.

Alhamdulillah, another meaningful day of the International Leadership & Islamic Civilization Programme (ILICP) 2026 has come to a close.

Today’s activities brought our delegation from Masjid Muhammad, Washington D.C. into meaningful engagements with Malaysia’s Islamic leadership, higher education institutions, and the world of creativity and technology.

The day began with a warm and insightful Meet & Greet with Hon. Senator Pn. Marhamah Rosli, Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) at the Deputy Minister’s Office in Putrajaya. The session provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives on Malaysia’s Islamic administration, community development, and the role of collaboration in strengthening Muslim communities.

The delegation also explored the mosque’s remarkable Islamic architecture, facilities, and role as a space for worship and community engagement—gaining a deeper appreciation of Malaysia’s Islamic heritage and mosque development.

The delegation then continued with the Sharing session about “Collaboration Between Universities and Mosques: Developing Future Muslim Leaders”, delivered by Prof. Dr. Mahazan bin Abdul Mutalib @ Talib. The session highlighted the strengths of USIM and potential opportunities for future collaboration between universities and mosques in developing the next generation of Muslim leaders.

The day concluded with an inspiring session on “Creative Making to Technology Careers” by Muhammad Najee-Ullah, Founder of FullBlast STEAM & 3D Pen Party, introducing participants to the connection between creativity, innovation, technology, and future career opportunities.

🌿 ILICP 2026 | Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programme 🤝

Alhamdulillah, one of the main activities of the International Leadership & Islamic Civilization Programme (ILICP) 2026 was successfully concluded today at Surau Jumaat Al-Ikhlas, Desa Cempaka.

Today’s CSR programme provided our participants with a meaningful opportunity to experience community engagement, Islamic social responsibility, and the spirit of giving back to society.

From learning about the surau’s welfare initiatives and Khairat Kematian, to meeting the Surau Committee and local community, participants also took part in a community cooking activity and shared a meaningful lunch together. 🍲🤝

More than just an activity, today was a reflection of leadership through service, compassion, teamwork, and community involvement — values that are at the heart of Islamic leadership.

A heartfelt thank you to the Surau Jumaat Al-Ikhlas Committee and the Desa Cempaka community for their warm hospitality and kindness. Your generosity made today’s experience truly memorable. ❤️
