BONDA is an Islamic program for kindergartens and nurseries which make both Al-Quran and As-Sunnah as a guide that meet the mental, intelectual, emotional, spiritual and physical needs of children. The Bonda program integrates Islamic values in the academic curriculum. This includes performing prayers, memorizing surahs’ amma and saying du’a in daily life such as du’a before and after eating, du’a before and after entering the toilet, du’a before and after waking up, and more as practiced by our Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. Besides, we also practice the method of play-way while studying in every syllabus that we run, as children are naturally playful. We have Junior Tahfiz Program which is Al Quran memorization. Our hope is to be able to outgrow Hafiz / Hafizah children in the future. Besides that, we also emphasize on the appreciation of ‘Asmaul Husna‘ and hadith. Not to forget our tagline is ‘Build Character, Upgrade knowledge‘ which is we learn through the characters of the Prophet and His companions. InsyaAllah, Apart from academic component and moral development, we also looking over an additional syllabus such as Arabic which is the language of the Quran (Al lughatul Quran). The current learning system in Malaysia makes Arabic as one of the compulsory subjects to learn in national schools. With early exposure from kindergarten, it can facilitate the learning process of the children during their primary level later
We also have ‘Junior Scientist’ program. This program links all the educational elements that are essential in producing effective and high quality teaching SYSTEMS. The system consists of some elements such as the science curriculum for preschool children aged 3, 4, 5 & 6 years old, books, teacher’s lesson plans, experimental materials, teaching aids, posters and flashcards. Furthermore, we provide activities such as ‘Art & Craft’ and ‘Junior Master Chef’ which give such a great enjoyment to the children. The experience they gained while exploring the activities will be the most memorable part in their Early Childhood Education. Recently, we held Mandarin subjects using interactive multimedia methods to ensure that the children at Bonda Preschool are proficient in various languages. We also emphasize on co-curriculum aspect apart from the curriculum. Other than sports activities being held every Wednesday, we also provide martial arts activities such as Taekwondo and silat which can be optional for parents. Such activities can train children to be self-confident and increase the discipline level of children. It is also in line with the claim in Islam which Prophet Muhammad s.a.w said “A strong believer is better and is more lovable to Allah than a weak believer.”
