UTAR Askar Wataniah Army Reserve Unit - Kampar Campus is a campus organization working closely with C Company, 3rd Battalion of 503rd Regiment of Askar Wataniah. An equivalent formation in the British Army would be the Territorial Army. UTAR Askar Wataniah also is a medium for UTAR students to send in inquiries about joining Askar Wataniah. All members who join the official Askar Wataniah will be
trained and taught military knowledge from our officers and trainers either from 503 Rejimen Askar Wataniah or another infantry unit known as Rejimen Askar Melayu Diraja (RAMD). Students who apply for Rejimen Askar Wataniah will have the opportunity of learning and understanding theoretical and practical military knowledge in-depth. Tactical knowledge of the M16A1 rifle handling is part of it. Basic army knowledge, strategic formations, and survival skills are part of the regimental training. Online virtual meets with the officers of the Malaysian Armed Forces comprising of the Malaysian Army(Land component), Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF), and Royal Malaysian Navy(RMN) are also organized for our official members. We serve our beloved nation and do it proudly as a member of the club and also as the Army Reserve. We call upon more Malaysians aged 18-40, able-bodied and strong-willed to join us and be part of contributing to the country through the Malaysian Armed Forces!
