🌙✨ 𝗖𝗖𝗜 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗤𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗴𝘆𝗽𝘁 🇪🇬

We are proud to share that seven students from the College of Computing and Informatics (CCI), UNITEN, are currently participating in the Tahsin Sanad & Tadabbur Al-Quran Programme in Egypt, held from 7 to 25 August 2026.

The participating students are:

📖 The programme aims to strengthen students’ Quranic recitation through the Sanad transmission chain and deepen their understanding of the Holy Quran through Tadabbur sessions. Students also have the opportunity to learn at selected pilgrimage locations in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, receive guidance and correction from qualified masyaikhs, and gain valuable scholarly experiences.

May this meaningful journey enrich their knowledge, strengthen their connection with the Quran, and inspire them to carry these values throughout their academic and personal journeys. 🤍✨

At Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), we take pride in celebrating alumni who continue to make remarkable strides in their academic and professional journeys. One such inspiring alumna is Aina Nadhirah Ahmad, a graduate of the Bachelor in Information Technology (Graphics and Multimedia) (Hons.), Class of 2024, who is currently pursuing a Master of Computer Science at the University of Sydney, Australia. 🇦🇺

Aina’s postgraduate studies are fully sponsored by the Public Service Department (JPA) of Malaysia under the prestigious Program Ijazah Lanjutan (JPA-PIL) scholarship. Before continuing her studies at the University of Sydney, Aina gained hands-on industry experience at GameWise Technology, PETRONAS, and TNB Research, equipping her with the technical and professional skills needed to excel in both academia and industry.✨

Reflecting on her time at UNITEN, Aina credits the university for providing a strong academic foundation while nurturing essential soft skills such as leadership, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. 🌱💡

One of the most significant milestones during her undergraduate studies was her Final Year Project, “Autism Adventure.” The project involved the design and development of an educational game aimed at addressing real-world challenges through technology. Working independently on the project allowed Aina to sharpen her research, technical, and analytical skills. Her efforts were recognized when she received the Best Final Year Project Award, an achievement that further strengthened her scholarship application.

The strong foundation Aina gained from UNITEN’s Bachelor in IT programme has enabled her to transition smoothly into the Master of Computer Science programme at the University of Sydney. When asked what UNITEN contributed most significantly to her journey, Aina’s answer was simple yet powerful: confidence. She credits the university for giving her the courage to pursue ambitious goals, from leading projects and entering the workforce to securing a competitive scholarship and pursuing postgraduate studies overseas. 🌏

Aina’s story is a testament to the impact of determination, lifelong learning, and the strong educational foundation provided by UNITEN.🌟 We are proud to celebrate her achievements and wish her continued success as she pursues new opportunities on the global stage.✨

Some of the most meaningful journeys begin with the connections we make along the way. Meet Dr. Sarah Shahril, a proud UNITEN alumna whose journey goes beyond academic achievement.

Graduating with a PhD in ICT in 2022, she has continued to make her mark as the CEO of Karbon Hero, bringing knowledge, leadership, and purpose into her professional journey.

Reflecting on her time at UNITEN, Dr. Sarah highlights the meaningful connections she built with her lecturers — relationships that have grown into lasting friendships beyond university life, including her lasting friendship with Ts. Eddren.

Her story reminds us that the UNITEN experience is not only about earning a degree, but also about building meaningful relationships that can last a lifetime.
