The German-Malaysian Institute (GMI) team participated in the Google Education AI Day at the Google Malaysia Office, Kuala Lumpur, on 9 June 2026.

Mr. Ahmad Solihin bin Mohamed Yusoff, Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director of GMI, led the delegation and gained:
* Hands‑on exposure to Google's innovative tools, including Google Gemini and NotebookLM.
* A deeper understanding of how AI‑powered solutions enhance learning, productivity, collaboration, and problem‑solving in academic and professional environments.
* An exclusive tour of the Google Malaysia office, which showcased the culture, innovation, and dynamic work environment of one of the world’s leading technology companies.
