THROWBACK | Automechanika Kuala Lumpur @ KLCC 🚗⚡
Last Saturday, I was truly honored to be invited by Central Pahang Automobile Repairers’ Association to share my personal journey and thoughts on:
“Transforming Your Automotive Workshop From Traditional to Modern”
The sharing session was successfully held during Automechanika Kuala Lumpur at KLCC, gathering many industry friends, workshop owners, and automotive aftermarket players together for knowledge sharing and future industry discussion. 🙏
Honestly, this sharing was not about teaching people how successful we are.
It was about sharing real struggles, real challenges, and real transformation experiences that many of us in the automotive aftermarket industry are facing today.
For many years, our industry has been facing:
▪️ Pricing wars
▪️ Lack of manpower
▪️ Technology changes
▪️ EV & Hybrid transformation
▪️ Customer expectation changes
▪️ Increasing competition
Sometimes, many workshop owners may feel:
“Is our industry slowly dying?”
But personally, I don’t think our industry is dying.
I believe:
WE ARE NOT DYING.
WE ARE TRANSFORMING.
The future automotive industry will definitely continue changing, but independent workshops still have a very important role in the market.
The key is:
We must be ready to improve ourselves,
improve our systems,
improve our knowledge,
and improve our mindset.
Traditional experience alone may no longer be enough for the future.
Modern workshop management, SOP, digital systems, EV & Hybrid knowledge, staff development, transparency, and collaboration will become more important than ever before.
Most importantly, transformation does not mean we walk alone.
When workshops grow stronger together,
our industry ecosystem becomes healthier together.
I sincerely hope this sharing session can become a small starting point for more workshops to continue learning, upgrading, and preparing for the future automotive aftermarket industry together. 💪
Special thanks to:

Let’s continue to grow, transform, and move forward together.
Because at the end…
“You can walk alone,
or we can walk together.”
