"Honoured and grateful that our team, Power Puff Grid, received received the Gold Award at the The Energy University Student Project & Research Knowledge Showcase (SPARKS) under the Integrated Design Project |I (Electrical & Electronics / Electrical Power Engineering) category 🥇

Our project, VisionPalm, is an autonomous drone-based system for palm oil ripeness detection that integrates image processing, IoT monitoring, and a solar-powered docking station to support sustainable and efficient plantation monitoring.

For this project, I worked on the solar-powered docking station and power system integration, focusing on the charging mechanism and energy management to support continuous drone operation in the field. Bringing together hardware, embedded systems, renewable energy, and IoT into a functional prototype was both challenging and rewarding.

Grateful to my teammates Sarah Qadisya Fazila, Alyssa Sofea, and Aleeya for all the effort, teamwork, and countless late nights throughout this journey. Special thanks to our advisor, Dr. Hui Jing Lee , for the continuous guidance, support, and encouragement throughout the development of this project."

A few days ago, I joined the team at Universiti Tenaga Nasional as a volunteer usher for the Majlis Kecemerlangan Confirm AI 2026. What started as a favor for a friend turned into an insightful sit-down with Prof. Madya Dr. Mohd Azree, the mastermind behind Confirm AI.

We discussed his journey in developing AI tools specifically tailored for high school students facing the SPM gauntlet. Whether it’s tackling impossible questions or providing high-volume practice, his dedication to creating a problem-solving ecosystem is a game-changer.

Building something from scratch is never easy. It requires a relentless drive to spark change. This is exactly how we propel Malaysia toward the Industrial Revolution 4.0, by being AI-led and solution-oriented.

Sometimes, the most impactful lessons aren't learned in a classroom, but in the corridors of a well-executed vision.
